The Frostrail Game at a Glance
The world of Frostrail has frozen over: the Emperor signed a pact with the Void, and an endless winter swallowed everything. You play as survivors of the Penitent Gardeners faction aboard the Eden Engine — a steam locomotive that is at once your train, your base and your last refuge. Venture out on foot into abandoned settlements, mines, tombs and bunkers to scavenge, then race back along the yellow cone of the train's headlight before the Revenants — Lovecraftian undead things — close in. Between runs, upgrade the train itself: new carriages, workbenches, weapon mounts and armor.
